Minecraft News

Between 19 October and 25 October 2026, Minecraft YouTubers featured 31 separate creations across 23 videos. This week's coverage was led by Hedge's Bestiary, Ronova: Ruler of Death, and Skarrier Mobs. Each of these three mods was featured by two different channels, distinguishing them in a week otherwise dominated by single-channel showcases.

The following ranking is based strictly on the number of unique YouTube channels that covered each mod during this seven-day period. It is a measure of current creator interest and trending visibility rather than a reflection of total download counts or an assessment of the software's quality.

Content Trends and Convergence

The data shows a high degree of fragmentation this week, with 17 of the 20 ranked mods appearing on only one channel. Convergence was limited to the top three entries: Hedge's Bestiary, Ronova: Ruler of Death, and Skarrier Mobs. These mods managed to capture the attention of multiple creators simultaneously, while the rest of the field consisted of isolated reviews and tutorials.

Mob-focused content and character expansions were prominent. Hedge's Bestiary and Skarrier Mobs both focus on entity variety, while Ronova: Ruler of Death brings Genshin Impact-inspired elements to the game. Other notable entries like Mob Empires and Lycanites Mobs further suggest that creators are currently prioritising mods that alter or add to the game's creature roster.

Technical Tools and Established Classics

Alongside new creature mods, several long-standing technical tools maintained their relevance. Iris Shaders and Litematica both appeared in the rankings, specifically through installation guides and tutorials for version 26.3. This indicates a continued demand for foundational performance and utility mods even as newer content updates arrive.

Industrial and automation mods also held their ground. Both Create and its addon, Create Aeronautics, appeared in the list. While these did not see the multi-channel coverage of the top three mods, their presence alongside technical utilities like BlazeTweaks and Caldris shows a consistent interest in complex mechanical gameplay and quality-of-life improvements.

How we counted

We searched YouTube for 9 separate mod queries and kept every video whose publish date, as YouTube reports it, falls between 19 October 2026 and 25 October 2026 — Monday to Sunday. Each video was then matched to the one named creation it is about; videos that only rank or list things, and videos we could not tie to a single named creation, were left out. The rank above is the number of separate channels that covered a creation, with the total number of videos as the tie-breaker. It is not a download count, a review score or our own opinion of what is best — it is a measure of what creators chose to put in front of their audience that week. 9 of the 20 entries already have a download page on 9Minecraft and are linked above; the rest do not, and we say so rather than send you somewhere else.
