Our weekly round-up of Minecraft modpack coverage on YouTube for 19–25 October 2026, featuring Homestead, Prominence II, and various survival challenges.
Minecraft News
Between 19 October and 25 October 2026, Minecraft YouTubers published 23 videos covering 20 different modpacks. This week saw a high volume of single-video features, with only two packs receiving coverage from more than one creator. Homestead led the category with three videos from three separate channels, followed by Prominence II, which was featured by two channels.
The following ranking is based on the number of unique YouTube channels that produced content for each modpack during this seven-day period. This list does not measure total download counts or the quality of the packs, but rather the current level of interest and visibility within the content creator community.

Consensus and variety
Most modpacks this week appeared in isolation, with 18 out of 20 entries being covered by only one channel. Homestead was the only pack to reach three separate channels, supported by an official 2.0 update trailer and overview. Prominence II followed as the only other pack with multiple creators, though its coverage focused on installation tutorials rather than gameplay showcases.
Content trends and formats
Survival challenges and '100 Days' formats remained a significant driver for modpack visibility. Creators used packs such as Antarchy, Cave Horror Project, Desert Factory, and The Sift for long-form survival movies and hardcore challenges. Other content focused on niche aesthetics, such as the fairycore-themed Faetastical or the Minestuck-inspired Craftbound.
Tutorials and installation guides also made up a portion of the week's output. Packs like DawnCraft, Determination SMP, Target FPS Boost, and Zombie Invade 100 Days were primarily featured in videos explaining how to download and set up the software. Of the 20 packs listed, seven currently have dedicated download pages hosted on 9Minecraft.
How we counted
We searched YouTube for 9 separate modpack queries and kept every video whose publish date, as YouTube reports it, falls between 19 October 2026 and 25 October 2026 — Monday to Sunday. Each video was then matched to the one named creation it is about; videos that only rank or list things, and videos we could not tie to a single named creation, were left out. The rank above is the number of separate channels that covered a creation, with the total number of videos as the tie-breaker. It is not a download count, a review score or our own opinion of what is best — it is a measure of what creators chose to put in front of their audience that week. 7 of the 20 entries already have a download page on 9Minecraft and are linked above; the rest do not, and we say so rather than send you somewhere else.
